Nestlé Waters Canada Water and Financial Donations

Thank you for inquiring about our donation program. As part of Nestlé Waters Canada's Good Neighbour Policy, we are committed to giving back to the communities where our employees, neighbors, and our customers live, work and play.

Each year, we receive hundreds of water and financial donation requests. Unfortunately, we are only able to fund a small number of these worthy causes.

Typically, requests that meet our mission and geographic focus below are more likely to receive full or partial support:

1. Mission focus: In these communities we give priority to watershed protection, water education, and disadvantaged children donation requests. We also provide water donations for emergency relief through the Red Cross as well as through local emergency organizations; and
2. Geographic focus: The primary geographic focus for our donations is in and around our headquarters, manufacturing plants, distribution facilities and spring source communities in Guelph, Ontario, Laval, Quebec, Hope, British Columbia, and Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Your application is more likely to be approved if it is submitted at least 45 days before your event. Generally, approved water donation recipients schedule to pick up water at our facilities.

Nestlé Waters Canada is committed to industry-leading environmental stewardship, which includes the objective of developing and/or participating in programs that result in the collection and recycling of as many plastic water bottles as humanly possible. Organizations that receive water donated by Nestlé Waters Canada are responsible for ensuring that all empty plastic water bottles are collected and recycled. Where necessary, Nestlé Waters Canada will furnish re-usable recycling bags to facilitate the collection and proper delivery of these bottles to a recycling depot.

The majority of our financial contributions are directed around our goals of water education, watershed protection and disaster relief.

If you would like to like to suggest a strategic partnership addressing these goals, please include in your application information on your group’s mission and geographic focus, recent activities/accomplishments, and a description of your proposed partnership opportunity.

Once you receive your water and/or financial donation from Nestlé Waters Canada, it would be appreciated by the company if you would consider one or more of the following recognition initiatives:

• Write a letter of thanks to Gail Cosman, President, Nestlé Waters Canada;
• When promoting your event using flyers or advertising or press releases or billboards, mention the donation you received from Nestlé Waters Canada; and
• When publicly thanking all those who sponsored your event or attended it, mention the donation you received from Nestlé Waters Canada.

This website will allow you to share your community opportunity with us in an effective manner. Once you have submitted your information, our staff will review your application and determine if we will be able to support your request. We review and respond to all requests within 45 days of submission.
